    How do I start the process?+

    Do I need to be in Dubai to set up a company?+

    No. Most free zone formations can be completed remotely. If you also want UAE residency, one visit of 2 to 3 days is required for biometrics.

    How long does the process take?+

    Trade licenses are usually issued in 7 to 15 working days. Banking often takes a further 2 to 4 weeks. DBC manages the full timeline for you.

    Company Formation

    What is the difference between free zone and mainland?+

    Free zone companies are ideal for international business, 100% foreign ownership, and efficient banking for non UAE trade. Mainland companies can trade directly in the UAE market and bid for government work.

    How many visas come with each package?+

    Launchpad includes 0 visas. Founder includes 1 visa. Growth includes 2 visas. Business includes 3 visas. Enterprise includes 4 or more visas.

    Can I have multiple business activities on one license?+

    Yes. Most recommended free zones allow up to 3 business activities at no extra cost. Additional activities are charged separately by the free zone.

    Pricing and Payment

    How much does it cost?+

    Company formation packages start from $5,175 (AED 19,000). All prices are all inclusive, with USD shown first and AED shown in brackets.

    What are your payment terms?+

    Company formation is billed 70% deposit to commence and 30% on license approval.

    Are government fees included?+

    Yes. Published package pricing includes the government charges within the package scope.

    Banking

    Why do UAE bank accounts get rejected?+

    The most common reasons are incomplete source of funds documentation, unclear business purpose, and poor bank fit. DBC addresses those issues before submission.

    Can I open a bank account as a non resident?+

    Yes. DBC works with banks that support non resident corporate accounts, although most banks still require one visit for final signing.

    Which banks does DBC work with?+

    We work with several major UAE banks, including Mashreq, Emirates NBD, ADCB, and RAKBANK, and recommend the best fit based on your business profile.

    Visas and Compliance

    Can I sponsor my family?+

    Yes. Once you hold your residence visa, you can sponsor your spouse and dependants, and DBC can manage that process.

    What is the Golden Visa?+

    The UAE Golden Visa is a long term residence visa for investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and qualifying property owners. DBC can handle the application process.

    Do free zone companies pay corporate tax?+

    Free zone companies can qualify for a 0% rate on qualifying income, but registration and proper compliance remain important. DBC advises on the right setup for your situation.
